In the latest version of Bill HB 341, the amount that the circuit clerk will retain from each fee collected has been increased from three dollars to five dollars. This change means that more funds will be available to support the operations of the circuit clerk's office and cover juror mileage. This adjustment is important because it helps ensure that the office can continue to function effectively and that jurors are compensated for their travel expenses.
