The bill HB 110 has been amended to increase the air-mile radius for intrastate commercial vehicle drivers from 75 miles to 150 miles. This change aligns Alabama's regulations with current federal standards, allowing drivers to operate within a larger area without facing additional regulatory burdens. It matters because it provides more flexibility for drivers and businesses, potentially improving efficiency and job opportunities in the transportation sector.
