The bill HB 46 has been amended to allow permanent vehicle registration for volunteer rescue squad vehicles, similar to what is already in place for volunteer fire department vehicles. This change is important because it provides these crucial rescue vehicles with a permanent license plate, reducing administrative burdens and costs associated with annual renewals.
