What changed in the latest version
22 added · 80 removedPlain-language change summary
The recent changes to Bill HB 2 specify that members of the Dallas County Board of Education will receive a monthly compensation of $1,000, just as stated before. However, the version is now clearer and more concise, with some redundant language removed, but the key details about the payment process and timing remain unchanged. This matters because it streamlines the legislation, making it easier for board members and the public to understand how and when they will receive their compensation. The effective date for this compensation remains set for June 1, 2024.
