Summary
Existing law requires all drivers and all owners of a motor vehicle to at all times be able to establish financial responsibility and to carry at all times in the vehicle evidence of the form of financial responsibility. Existing law requires a personal vehicle sharing program, among other things, during all times that the vehicle is engaged in personal vehicle sharing, to provide insurance coverage, as specified. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to make changes to a personal vehicle sharing program's financial responsibility limits.
