Plain-language change summary

The key change in this bill involves the approval of a contract with McWard Real Estate, LLC, which provides emergency laundry services for migrant families arriving from the borders. The original proposal included more details and a formal request letter from the Mayor, which has since been removed to streamline the resolution. This matters because it allows the Council to expedite payments and necessary services for migrants without additional delays, ensuring they receive essential support quickly.
