The new version of the bill simplifies and streamlines the resolution to approve a multi-year legal contract with Tycko & Zavareei LLP for the Office of the Attorney General. Specifically, it clearly states the emergency nature of the contract and the need for immediate approval without lengthy background details or prior correspondence. This change is important because it speeds up the process, allowing the Office of the Attorney General to continue its essential consumer protection work without interruption.
