(a).(a) Pursuant to section 20 of the District of Columbia Housing Authority Act of 1999, effective May 9, 2000 (D.C.
Pursuant to section 20 of the District of Columbia Housing Authority Act of 1999, effective May 9, 2000 (D.C.
Official Code § 6-219), the District of Columbia Housing Authority (“DCHA”) has transmitted procurement regulations to the Council for a 45-day45- day review period.
(c) Therefore,Emergency emergency legislation is necessary to ensure that the Council is able to approve the regulations in part before the end of the review period.
The Council of the District of Columbia determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2 constitute emergency circumstances making it necessary that the District of Columbia Housing Authority Procurement Regulations Emergency Approval Resolution of 2023 be adopted afteron aan singleemergency reading.basis.
