Nadeau A CEREMONIAL RESOLUTION __________ IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ____________________ To recognize two young residents of Ward 3, Lenox Serrette and Nathan Ehrenberg, for their recent achievements in the world of chess.
WHEREAS, Lenox Serrette has represented the District in the Rockefeller Tournament of Elementary Champions for four consecutive years, and at the 2023 tournament, Lenox placed thirteenth out of fifty-one competitors, earning the title of the top-scoring player with a US Chess Federation rating under 1500;
WHEREAS, Lenox Serrette has represented the District in the Rockefeller Tournament of Elementary Champions for 4 consecutive years, and at the 2023 tournament, Lenox placed thirteenth out of fifty-one competitors, earning the title of the top-scoring player with a US Chess Federation rating under 1500;
and WHEREAS, the achievements of Lenox Serrette and Nathan Ehrenberg serve to inspire the youth of the District to pursue their passions;
