The latest version of the bill clarifies the need for an emergency resolution regarding property tax exemptions specific to unit owners of the River East at Grandview Condominiums during their relocation. This amendment specifies that the exemption should last throughout the duration of their move, addressing a gap created when the previous emergency law expired before a new temporary law took effect. These changes are important because they ensure that affected homeowners receive financial relief during a challenging time, preventing them from facing unexpected tax burdens while they transition to new housing.
