Plain-language change summary

The latest version of the bill has been updated to streamline the language around approving extensions to a contract with Aramark Correctional Services for food services to inmates. Key changes include removing the letter from the Mayor and outlining the need for emergency action without retroactive approval for the modifications, which total about $6 million. This matters because it allows for quicker decision-making, ensuring that food services continue uninterrupted for the inmates.
