Plain-language change summary

The key change in this bill is the removal of a lengthy letter from the Mayor that provided context and urged the Council to act quickly on the emergency legislation. This streamlining focuses solely on the approval of multiple modifications to a contract for healthcare services at the Police and Fire Clinic, along with the authorization for a total payment of just over $38 million. Simplifying the document makes it clearer and quicker for the Council to act, which is important for ensuring that essential services continue without interruption.
