The recent amendments to Bill HB 326 clarify that the document may include proposed and adopted amendments during the legislative session, but it cannot be used to introduce new amendments. This change is important as it establishes clear guidelines for how the bill's language can be presented and understood, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of what has been officially accepted and what is still under consideration. Additionally, the bill now explicitly includes provisions to cover funding for teacher housing as part of the various education-related funding acts. This is significant because it underscores a commitment to addressing housing needs for educators, which can be crucial for attracting and retaining teachers in the state.
