The recent amendment to SB 288 clarifies the regulations regarding the testing and transportation of cannabis products. The updated text specifies who is licensed to collect and transport cannabis, aims to streamline compliance with state laws, and makes provisions for off-site consumption of cannabis items clearer. This matters because it helps ensure that cannabis operations meet safety standards while providing better guidance for businesses and consumers.
