Section 8D.3, subsection 2, paragraph a, subparagraph ((2), 2), Code 2024, is amended to read as follows:
()(2) Voting members of the commission shall serve six-year staggered terms as designated by the governor and appointments to the commission are subject to the requirements of sections 69.16, 69.16A, and 69.19.
