Section 272.31
A substitute authorization that allows an individual to substitute in grades prekindergarten through twelve for no more than ten consecutive days in one job assignment for a regularly assigned teacher who is absent, except in the driver’s education classroom, shall require not more than the successful completion of an associate degree or not more than sixty undergraduate semester hours, or the equivalent, from a regionally accredited institution.
This adds a new requirement for substitute teachers regarding their educational qualifications.
