authorizing the Department of Economic Development to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Tourism Development Districts;
and authorizing the Department of Commerce to promulgate a legislative rule relating to certification of a microgrid district or certification as a high impact data center.
(a) The legislative rule filed in the State Register on JanuaryOctober 12,8, 2026,2024, authorized under the authority of §5B-2-21§5B-1-9 of this code, modified by the Department of Commerce to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on January 29, 2026, relating to the DepartmentDivision of CommerceEconomic (certificationDevelopment of(Tourism aDevelopment microgridDistricts, district or certification as a high impact data center, 145 CSR 20),16), is authorized.
(b) The legislative rule filed in the State Register on January 12, 2026, authorized under the authority of §5B-2-21 of this code, modified by the Department of Commerce to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on January 29, 2026, relating to the Department of Commerce (certification of a microgrid district or certification as a high impact data center, 145 CSR 20), is authorized with the following amendment:
On page 1, subsection 2.4., after the word “use” by inserting the words “or access of water”.
