(g) Council approval is necessary because this Contract has an aggregate value that exceeds $1 million in a 12-month period.
(h) Emergency approval of this Contract for $8,815,524 is necessary to prevent any impact to GWMFA’s provision of emergency department services.
ENROLLED ORIGINAL (i) Without Council approval, GWMFA cannot be paid for these critical services provided and to be provided in excess of $1 million.

The Council determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2 constitute emergency circumstances making it necessary that Modification No.
3 to Contract No.
NFPHC- 2018-435-A Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Amendment Act of 2019 be adopted after a single reading.

4.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
