The amendment adds a provision allowing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reinstate licenses for certain projects that expired between December 31, 2023, and the enactment of the Act. This reinstatement would take effect from the original expiration date, and any authorized extension would also begin at that time. This change clarifies the process for projects that may have faced delays due to the expiration of their licenses.
