The amendment changes the title of the bill from "Lands Act of 2023" to "Lands Act of 2024." It also modifies the assessment related to outdoor recreation facilities, extending the timeframe for conducting the assessment from 180 days to not later than 5 years after enactment. This means that following the enactment, there will be a longer period to assess outdoor recreation facilities on Federal lands and waters, which may impact how quickly changes or improvements can be made.
