Plain-language change summary

The amendment includes a provision that establishes a "Mandatory restitution" requirement for offenses related to human trafficking, ensuring that courts must order restitution for victims. This change specifies that the restitution must fully cover the victim's losses, as determined by the court. It matters because it aims to ensure that victims receive compensation directly related to the harm they have suffered as a result of trafficking offenses.
