Plain-language change summary

The updated version of H. Res. 372 adds several specific actions regarding Turkey's acquisition of the Russian S-400 air and missile defense system. It now includes a call for the termination of Turkey's participation in the F-35 industrial program and the implementation of sanctions if Turkey proceeds with the S-400 acquisition. Additionally, the resolution specifies that Turkey's acquisition of the S-400 would be classified as a significant transaction under the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act. These changes clarify the consequences Turkey may face and strengthen the U.S. position on the matter.
