Plain-language change summary

The amendment removes the short title of the bill and the sections detailing the banning of products with a high concentration of sodium nitrite, along with definitions and an effective date. This means there will no longer be a specific mention or provisions concerning the regulation of sodium nitrite in consumer products in the text of the bill. The practical effect of this change is that any intended regulation related to sodium nitrite is no longer included in the bill.
