Plain-language change summary

The amendment to bill S 447 involves the addition of lines defining "covered countries" and "wrongfully seized or transferred" in the context of Holocaust-era assets. These definitions clarify what countries are included in the legislation and outline the types of actions related to asset seizure that are considered wrongful. This helps to ensure a clearer understanding of the scope of the affected countries and the nature of the assets in question.
