The changes to HR 7846 include the addition of a note referencing the "Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2022" and the specification that the adjustment applies to "dependency and indemnity compensation to children" under sections 1313(a) and 1314. These modifications clarify the act's purpose and ensure that the rate increase also encompasses payments to children of disabled veterans.
