The amendment to S. Res. 488 updates the language to acknowledge the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds for winning the Women's Volleyball Championship, instead of stating simply that they were congratulated on the championship. Additionally, the specifics of who should receive a copy of the resolution have been clarified by naming the Chancellor, Athletic Director, and Head Coach of the university. This change makes the resolution more precise in recognizing the achievement and identifying the individuals involved.
