The amendments to S. 3296 add a requirement for the Administrator to consult with the owner or operator of each major airport regarding the languages spoken by members of Indian Tribes within the service area population. Additionally, it clarifies the definition of "Indian Tribe" by referencing the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994. These changes enhance the focus on tribal languages and their relevance in major airport operations.
