The property, identified as the Gila County Area, consists of approximately 232.9 acres of National Forest System land located in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona. The conveyance shall be made without consideration. The Forest Service shall not be required to provide any covenant or warranty for the land and improvements conveyed to the county under such conveyance. The amendment to S 1015 removes several definitions, provisions regarding a required written request for property conveyance, and conditions for the use of the conveyed land. This change may simplify the process for Gila County, Arizona, to acquire the specified property, which includes a parcel of approximately 232.9 acres. Additionally, the reversion clause concerning the use of the land for veterans has been deleted. This means that there are no longer specific conditions tied to the use of the property for veterans, potentially allowing for a broader range of future uses.
