Plain-language change summary

The updated version of the bill emphasizes the need for federal agencies to achieve not only efficiency and effectiveness but also equity and high-quality customer experiences across multiple channels. It introduces the concept of collecting voluntary customer experience feedback to assess the impact of agency components and programs. Additionally, it shifts the focus from "services" to "customer experiences," suggesting a broader scope in improving interactions with the public. This matters because it aims to enhance the way individuals perceive and interact with federal agencies, aligning expectations more closely with private sector standards.
