In the latest version of Senate Bill 588, the language regarding juror compensation has been clarified by changing "twenty dollars ($20.00)" to "twenty dollars ($20.00) per day" to clearly specify the payment cycle for jurors. This clarification matters because it helps ensure that jurors understand they will receive $20 for each day of service, potentially improving participation in jury duties by removing any ambiguity about their compensation.
