What changed in the latest version
12 added · 13 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 604 includes a clear reference to the training requirements for traffic-control officers, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties safely. Additionally, it specifies an indemnity clause that limits the financial liability of these officers in cases of wrongful death or bodily injury, up to $50,000 for multiple victims. These changes are important because they establish safer guidelines for traffic-control practices and protect officers from excessive legal risks, which may encourage more qualified individuals to take on these roles.
