Plain-language change summary

The amended bill SB 228 removed a requirement that the person seeking disbursement of funds must not challenge the condemnor's right to acquire the property. This change simplifies the process for individuals who are not disputing the title, allowing them to access funds more easily. This matters because it streamlines court proceedings, making it faster for property owners to receive compensation when there is no conflict over ownership.
