Plain-language change summary

In the updated version of Senate Bill 347, several amendments were made, primarily focusing on enhancing support for students with limited English proficiency (LEP). The bill now emphasizes the need for consistent assessment of these students at least every three years to ensure they receive the necessary assistance. Additionally, it calls for recommended funding to strengthen LEP programs and encourages the establishment of more bilingual education initiatives in North Carolina.
