Education - Universities, if favorable, Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House February 15, 2023 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE REDESIGNATION OF FAYETTEVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY AS ANY OTHER NAME AS A CONSTITUENT INSTITUTION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA.
As provided in G.S.
Fayetteville State University shall not be redesignated as any other name as a constituent institution of The University of North Carolina." SECTION 2.
116-4, the legal name of Fayetteville State University is "Fayetteville State University" and therefore it shall not be redesignated as any other name as a constituent institution of The University of North Carolina." SECTION 2.
