In the recent updates to Senate Bill 732, a few specific details were clarified regarding funding and service implementation. Notably, the bill continues to emphasize the importance of certain mental health services provided by VayaHealth and Alliance Behavioral Healthcare. Additionally, it reaffirms the allocation of $17.4 million in federal funds for the 2024-2025 budget to ensure that a new Medicaid service, known as CAET, is effectively implemented. These changes matter because they aim to enhance funding and support for mental health services, which are critical for community well-being.
