What changed in the latest version
10 added · 11 removedPlain-language change summary
In the updated version of Senate Bill 913, the wording has been clarified but the overall intent remains the same: it allows Guilford County to levy a local sales and use tax of 0.25% after providing a 10-day public notice. The changes simplify the language to make it more straightforward. This matters because it streamlines the process for the county to implement the tax, potentially providing additional funding for local services and initiatives.
