The updated version of Senate Bill 899 includes added language about how average daily membership (ADM) from the 2021-2022 school year will be referenced for a specific period, and it provides funding for scholarship grants to an authority, aiming to enhance educational resources. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of displaying school report cards prominently online, which can help parents and the community better understand school performance. These changes matter because they improve accountability in education and ensure that students have access to essential support through scholarships.
