The latest version of Senate Bill 62 has made a significant change regarding the monthly payments required from members. The amount was increased from ten dollars to twenty dollars. This adjustment matters because it affects how much members need to contribute to their accounts, potentially leading to increased funding for the programs supported by this bill, which aims to provide benefits to those serving in fire or rescue squads.
