In the updated version of Bill HB 208, a few lines have been removed and added, streamlining the language related to "clean risks," which are nonfleet, private passenger motor vehicles. This change clarifies how rates for these vehicles will be determined, ensuring they are fair and not excessively high or low. This matters because it aims to provide better protections for consumers by ensuring motor vehicle insurance rates are properly regulated, promoting a fair insurance market.
