Plain-language change summary

The amendment removes the title of the bill and portions of the definitions and provisions regarding premium pay for employees engaged in emergency wildland fire suppression activities. It eliminates specific language that defined various terms and details how premium pay is calculated, while redirecting focus to the core provisions related to waiving pay limitations. This change simplifies the language without altering the essential goal of the bill, which is to address compensation for employees involved in wildland fire suppression.
