Plain-language change summary

The amendment updates the wording to reflect that the bill was approved as Public Law 118-8 on July 18, 2023. The authorization for the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out major medical facility projects in fiscal year 2023, including the construction of a community living center in Canandaigua, New York, and the associated funding of $3,716,000,000 remains unchanged. This confirms the bill's official designation and enactment, providing clarity on its legislative status.
