122 added · 171 removedPlain-language change summary
The bill has been updated to change the name of the "First Persian Gulf War Veterans Day" to "First Gulf War Veterans Day" and to remove the term "Global War on Terrorism" from "Afghanistan War Veterans Day." These changes simplify the names of the observance days, making them more general and easier for the public to understand. This matters because clearer titles can lead to better recognition and appreciation of veterans' contributions during these conflicts.
