Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to HB 1773 introduced new definitions for key terms related to a volunteer program, including "active volunteer," "agency," and "annual tuition rate." This helps clarify who qualifies as an active volunteer and what educational institutions are recognized under the program. These clarifications are important because they ensure consistency and understanding of eligibility requirements for potential volunteers looking to benefit from educational programs.
