In the latest version of Bill HB 1032, the membership of the State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers has been expanded from eight to ten members. This change ensures that there are more voices on the board, including specific roles for certified Pennsylvania evaluators and public members, which could lead to a more balanced and representative decision-making process. Additionally, terms related to home inspections have been clarified to outline what they include and exclude, helping to set clearer expectations for both consumers and professionals in the field. These adjustments are important as they enhance oversight and accountability in real estate appraisals and inspections.
