Plain-language change summary

The bill HB 2832 underwent some significant changes in its definitions regarding indoor space operations for event venues. The term "Event Venue Indoor Space Facility Operation" was simplified to "Event Venue Indoor Space Operation," clarifying the focus on the operation itself rather than on facilities specifically. Additionally, some types of establishments, like night clubs and entertainment venues, were explicitly excluded from the definition, ensuring that the regulations apply mainly to restaurants and similar places that serve food and drink. This change is important because it tailors the legislation to better support venues that are crucial for community social life while avoiding unnecessary regulations for nightlife entertainment.
