The updated version of House Bill 903 includes some specific additions related to offshore wind supply chain industries in North Carolina. It specifies that the Department of Commerce is responsible for submitting reports and recommendations by March 1, 2020, and it allocates $300,000 from the General Fund to support studies and the development of a roadmap for these industries.
