The recent changes in Senate Bill 66 clarify the application process for organizations hosting game night events. The updated version specifies that applications should be submitted to the Alcohol Law Enforcement Headquarters rather than allowing submission to either a central office or local district office. This change centralizes the process, which may simplify the application for organizations and ensure that all permits are uniformly managed. This matters because it could help prevent confusion and ensure fairness in how events are regulated across different areas.
