Plain-language change summary

The latest version of House Bill 510 has been updated to clarify the process for candidates to announce their intent to run for election. Specifically, it maintains the requirement for candidates to file a notice of candidacy with the State Board, but it provides a more standard format for this notice. These changes are important because they aim to streamline the process for candidates and ensure that voters understand how candidates will be selected during elections.
