Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 600 introduce the ability for scholarship recipients to use their awards for short-term workforce training courses that lead to industry credentials. This change is significant because it expands the educational opportunities available to the children of veterans, allowing them to pursue valuable skills and certifications in addition to traditional degree programs.
