The amended version of House Bill 211 removed the requirement for a signature line on vehicle registration cards. This change simplifies the registration process for vehicle owners, making it easier and more convenient to obtain and carry their registration cards. Additionally, it updates rules around remote renewal and conversion of licenses for people under 18, ensuring these processes are more accessible. These updates are significant as they aim to streamline operations and enhance user experience for residents in North Carolina.
